CuraCap was developed by chemist Dr. Holger Scheib.
With a scientific background in chemistry and formulation, he approached scalp care from a perspective rarely seen in cosmetic products: understanding the biological environment in which hair follicles function.
Rather than focusing on cosmetic hair treatment, his work concentrates on the metabolic and structural conditions within the scalp.
Origin
Where CuraCap began
The origin of CuraCap was personal.
When his wife Christine experienced significant scalp sensitivity and noticeable hair thinning, the available products offered little help. Many formulations relied on fragrances, botanical mixtures or cosmetic ingredients that addressed the hair fibre but not the scalp itself.
Dr. Scheib began to develop a formulation built on a different principle: supporting the biological environment surrounding the hair follicle.
The result was a highly concentrated serum with a very small number of carefully selected ingredients.
This first formulation eventually became CuraCap.

Most cosmetic products rely on long ingredient lists designed to create sensory effects such as fragrance, texture or visual appearance.
CuraCap follows a different principle.
Each ingredient must serve a clear functional role within the scalp environment. Formulations are therefore deliberately minimal and highly concentrated.
Unnecessary additives are avoided. This includes fragrances, essential oils, cosmetic fillers and other ingredients that are not required for the functional goal of the formulation.

The Scalp Environment
Understanding the scalp environment
Hair does not grow independently from the scalp.
Every hair fibre originates from a follicle embedded in a complex biological environment. This environment includes blood supply, metabolic processes and interactions with the surrounding tissue and microbiome.
CuraCap formulations are designed with this environment in mind. Supporting this environment is the central idea behind every CuraCap serum.
